Grandes Rousses Hotel & Spa Alpe d'Huez, Alpe d'Huez

The hotel had a beautiful room with a south-facing balcony, but it was not as pictured on the website, causing difficulty securing mountain bikes. The service was extra helpful and friendly, especially in moving to a cooler non-South facing room. The location was excellent for accessing the slopes, and the ambiance was vibrant with stunning views. The dining experience had a good variety, although the cleanliness needs attention.

The hotel was a great choice for a ski holiday. The rooms were spacious and had everything needed, with the additional heater as a nice touch. Just be aware that the rack area was assigned and you might want to bring your own lock. The separate toilet and lovely bathroom added to the comfort of the stay.
